Offical launch day and UK record beaten!

Satruday 26th july - our official launch day, and it was a huge success!

On a lovely sunny Saturday, the Exeter shoppers came along to Princesshay in their droves to sample, taste and savour their first Huggs. The overwhelming opinion was – Yogolicious!!

         

Couples, families and complete strangers  took turns on the ‘Hugg Spot’ to hugg each other…

Even better – we beat the UK record for a group hug.

The previous record set in 2009 in St Pancras Station, London was 122 in a one minute hug, but now we hold the record at 136! Although the crowd were shy at first, a group of young marines started the ball rolling, and the rest soon got hugging.

     

This delicious, healthy new experience, has definitely put Exeter on the map, and many smiles on many faces. We had a great day – thank you Huggxeter.
